Well for some of you that have read my post over this past year again a big thanks. It means a lot. Over the last month the crazy hours at work pretty much pushed me to my limit. Five months of six-day week left me so exhausted that even the desire to read consistently took a backseat to the overwhelming need to sleep as much as I could get away with. I am happy to say that I’ve got my much-needed days off at work again and have since recovered. You know what this means right? If you guessed I’ve got some books to write about then kudos to you. You are totally right.

As of this week I have four books to write about and probably be up to five early next week. One thing I much admit though is that I have really been into audio books and in some cases one series that I am enjoying the only way I would even consider continuing through is by audio simply since it is actually the only way I can get the entire series without spending half of my Amazon credit. Why do that when I can get the books free from the library. I will readily admit it I don’t care to spend cash on books unless it is an author I know that I like and want to support their work if I can. The exception to that being if I can get a good deal on the books, but it is not worth it if it will cost more than ten cents or close to that per page. Am I cheap? Yup, I probably am, and I will readily admit to that. Then again it has a lot to do with not having a whole lot of disposable cash lying around. I am going to hazard a guess I am not the only one in that boat around here.

Aside from work and books I have to say that life is moving right along and this year just seems to flying by. One of the things I am trying to do more of is getting outside more now that it is light out longer and getting in better shape. Just this afternoon I got in a three-mile walk and it was wonderful and it made me want to do it more. Doing so also gives me a chance to enjoy my audiobooks at the same time. The second upside to this besides my desire to be healthier is that I will have more content to write about over the coming weeks giving the opportunity to do another thing that I enjoy as well. With that in mind, be on the lookout for a new book review in the next few days!
